Eight DGSC Teams Advance to Region II Championships
Dakota Gold teams dominated the 2007 SD Challenge Cup on May 4, 5 and 6, 2007 in Rapid City. Eight of the nine DGSC teams that entered the tournament won their respective divisions. No other soccer organization in South Dakota can boast this level of success! The closest SD competitor to DGSC was only able to advance two teams to regionals.
The next stop for these teams is the USYSA Region II Championships on June 22-27, 2007.
We are very proud of our DGSC teams advancing to Regionals:
- U13G Challenge
- U13B Challenge
- U15G Destiny
- U16B Fury
- U16G Adrenaline
- U17G Alliance
- U17B Phantom
- U19G Impact
Congratulations to our players for this huge accomplishment!

A Brief History of Dakota Gold Success...
Dakota Gold Soccer Club was started 20 years ago with a mission to provide the highest quality coaching for our youth soccer players. Today's DGSC continues that tradition with successes that are unmatched by ANY soccer organization in South Dakota. NO soccer club can match our level of coaching, our success in developing players and our team's successes on the field. You are members of South Dakota's most successful club! Here are some interesting historical facts about us:
In 2006, over 40 Dakota Gold players were selected to the SD High School All-State Soccer Teams.
In 2007, eight Dakota Gold teams won their State Championship.
Since 2000, Dakota Gold has won over 60 State Championships - more than all of the other SD clubs combined.
Since inception, Dakota Gold teams have won over 100 State Championships.
Dakota Gold is the only SD club to win a Regional Championship (1999) and have a player advance to Major League Soccer and the US Men's National Team.
Over 50 former Dakota Gold players have gone on to play collegiate and higher level soccer!

Help Needed!
|
|
Mowing at the Training Grounds
We desperately need help in maintaining the grass at the Training Grounds. This grass needs to be mowed 2 times per week to maintain proper playing height. Yep, you read right - two times per week.
Each mowing takes about 4 to 6 hours. We have the mower and the fuel. We need bodies. Dependable bodies.
This mowing is not rocket science but it is a science. We have a definite method and a definite plan to keep the fields in top shape.
If you can sit on a mower and follow instructions, please give the office a call. Thanks for your consideration.
