February 2008 Volume 3 Number 2
|
| Greetings to our players, parents and friends! |
| Scrip Program |
|
An Easy Way to Pay Your Way
DGSC’s offers a Scrip program to all members of the Club.
Simply put, the Scrip program allows you to buy gift certificates to local and national merchants at face value and earn cash back "rebates" by using the certificates. The cash you earn can be used to pay your Club dues and other soccer expenses.
You can shop where you always shop: HyVee, Kohls, Gas Stop, dozens of local shops - but now you earn money - and it costs you nothing.
Also, we have added Monday evenings to the Scrip schedule!

Great Info From Those Who Know...
The annual DGSC college recruiting seminar was held on February 13, 2008. Approximately 50 players and parents attended.
The Seminar was attended by local and regional coaches: Mekonnen Afa (Univ. of Sioux Falls), Brandon Barkus (Augustana College), Becky Heiberger (St. Cloud State University), Tom Maxon (Morningside), Dale Roden (Dakota Wesleyan University) and Lang Wedemeyer (SDSU). Former DGSC players Mike Orr (Gustavus Adolphus), Katie Bunkers (Nebraska Lincoln) and Kristina Wong (Morningside) also attended to share their experiences about the college recruiting process and what it is like to be a college player.

Joga parents, we want to hear from you! If you can help in any way, contact Director of Coaching Tim Cristian at the office: 335-1394.
