Dakota Gold Mentor Program
Updated 3/11/2005

DAKOTA GOLD MENTOR PROGRAM

Dakota Gold believes that many of our Grassroots Academy players will benefit greatly from being around some of our older club players who are excellent role models for their behavior on and off of the field.  Dakota Gold believes that this is a great opportunity for our older players to share their experiences and knowledge.  The Dakota Gold Mentor Program is one that extends our player relationships within the club, further connecting our youth development programs with our club teams, and benefits both the older and younger players involved. The program involves selecting a small, yet outstanding group of senior level club players, boys and girls who will assist Dakota Gold staff coaches with the training of our Grassroots Academy players.

Any interested DAKOTA GOLD players, age fourteen to seventeen, should email Coach Cristian at Tim.Cristian@dakotagoldsoccer.com.

Any DAKOTA GOLD player's who are interested in participating in The DAKOTA GOLD Mentor Program will need the following:

A.     A recent report card showing positive effort, behavior, and performance at school.

B.     Support from their Dakota Gold coach.

C.    Support from their parent or guardian who may need to provide transportation to and from Dakota Gold Fields/Facility.

D.    A willingness to volunteer your time and commitment to attend regularly scheduled events for Dakota Gold Academy or Dakota Gold programs (i.e. clinics/camps,etc.)

E.     Must enjoy working with youngsters' ages 5-6 (Fundamentals) and 7-10 (Grassroots Academy) and must be willing to demonstrate and teach basic soccer skills.
