A parent's meeting for the DG Destiny Challenge U14G was held on Wednesday September 28, 2005. The main topic of discussion were the plans for Spring events.
1. President's Cup Invitational in Phoenix, AZ, President's weekend; Feb 17-19, 06. The team will not go unless we have a minimum of 14 players form the Challenge group and if need be we will pick up 2 guest players from the Classic group who would be interested. Tana Berens amde some initial inquiries about expenses. It came to $351.00 airfare out of Sioux Falls. Futher investigating will be done to reduce the price of the trip, out of Omaha (may be). Airfare/hotle packages were found at a very attractive price. Travel agencies will also be contacted to see if we can even reduce the cost further by booking gorup rates. Some of the airlines will offer a 5% if more than 10 people travel.
2. Next proposed event was the NSR Region II cup in Rockford IL. Bus travel will be investigated. Find attached some of the bids we were given. Dates April 28-30, 06.
3. Tournament in Noblesville, Indiana was mentioned as well. The attraction for this event is that the players will be hosted by families from Whitney's former team. Dates would be Memorial weekend.
4. Midwest Regional League. Varied weekends. Could be an avenue if other major events do not occur. One of the weekends is during our State Cup. But we will only attend if we are not challenged.
5. Sioux City Indoor League. It was mentioned it would be on Sunday nights but after reviewing the info, they will play on Saturdays, up to 1:00pm. It is only a 6v6 league, so if there is interference with other activities we will go with players not in those activities.
6. JFG In Des Moines is another event which we could attend, 2nd or 3rd weekend of April 2006.
7. We will attend the DGSC Tnmt in Sioux Falls 2nd weekend of June and the AAG in Blaine, MN, the weekend before Regionals, in Appleton, Wisconsin.
8. We were able to secure the Celebrate Church for indoor training on Tuesday and Thursday at the same rate as the outdoor ($10.00) per session.
If we do not go to Phoenix for one reason or another we will review our schedule to prepare for events claser to home.
Respectfully Submitted

Dear Daniel,
Thank you for contacting The BusBank. We're the easy way to charter a bus anywhere in North America. As a company that prides ourselves on unsurpassed customer service, we certainly appreciate the opportunity to serve you.
My name is Justin Dossiea and I will be working with you as your personal Account Executive. I wanted to confirm that I have received your request and I have already begun to work on your behalf.
Daniel, I have researched different options in the area around Sioux Falls for 04/26/06. Based on the schedule and number of passengers you submitted (45), I'm confident I can secure a bus for your trip at rates ranging as follows:
Your Estimated Cost (based on request submitted): $123 per person
Additional costs may include the driver's gratuity (10-15%), tolls, parking and driver's hotel accommodations. You may reduce your average cost per person by increasing your number of passengers. Standard coaches can accommodate up to 47 or 55 passengers.
Would you like an itemized proposal?. If so, please email me a detailed itinerary so I may provide you with specific pricing.
Estimates are subject to equipment availability, number of passengers and exact itinerary so we should try to firm up your specific needs as soon as possible. As you can appreciate, reservations are made on a first come-first serve basis since rates vary day to day.
Is there a specific time you would like me to call? If so, please send me a time and number to discuss details. If you prefer, you may call me on our toll-free number, 1-866-428-7226 ext. 6163 when it is most convenient for you. I am typically in from 8am to 6pm Central Time. Please mention your reference number #179436.
