DGSC and Avera Sports Institute have teamed to offer the
Come Out to Play! Soccer Camp on June 4-6 at Lions Centennial Park. This camp will provide area kids ages 5-14 the opportunity to train and interact with two players who started their soccer careers in the Midwest and have gone on to enjoy success at the highest level of professional soccer in the United States. The camp will be facilitated by former Major League Soccer (MLS) professionals Chris Brunt and Chris Houser, as well as the nationally licensed coaching staff from Dakota Gold Soccer Club.
The camp curriculum will consist of fun activities, soccer-related games, skills training and soccer games in a format that will be enjoyable for the players. Campers will get the opportunity to interact with the professionals to see what it takes to play in the MLS. Get signed up early for this great opportunity to learn more about the game of soccer, as well as benefit the Together for Kids campaign, which raises funds in support of national health care initiatives for children.
